How to Reach

By Air

  • The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (approx. 35 km from Haridwar).
  • Helicopter services are available from Phata, Guptkashi, and Sirsi to Kedarnath.

By Train

  • The nearest railway station is Haridwar Railway Station, well-connected to major cities.

By Road

  • Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Dehradun are the major starting points.
  • Regular buses and taxis operate from Haridwar/Rishikesh to Guptkashi, Sonprayag, and Badrinath.

Tour Itinerary (05 Nights / 06 Days from Haridwar)

Day 1: Haridwar – Guptkashi (220 km / 8-9 hrs)

  • Pick-up from Haridwar and drive to Guptkashi.
  • En route, visit Rudraprayag & Devprayag (holy river confluences).
  • Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 2: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30 km by road + 19 km trek)

  • Drive to Sonprayag and further to Gaurikund.
  • Trek (or take a pony/palanquin/helicopter) to Kedarnath Temple.
  • Attend Evening Aarti and seek Lord Shiva’s blessings.
  • Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 3: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19 km trek + 30 km by road)

  • Attend early morning darshan at Kedarnath.
  • Trek back to Gaurikund and return to Guptkashi.
  • Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 4: Guptkashi – Badrinath (190 km / 8-9 hrs)

  • Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath & Vishnuprayag.
  • Visit Narad Kund, Tapt Kund (hot springs), and Mana Village.
  • Attend Evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple.
  • Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 5: Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160 km / 6-7 hrs)

  • Early morning darshan at Badrinath Temple.
  • Visit Brahma Kapal for rituals.
  • Drive to Rudraprayag and check-in at the hotel.

Day 6: Rudraprayag – Haridwar (160 km / 6-7 hrs)

  • Drive back to Haridwar via Rishikesh.
  • Visit Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula.
  • Drop at Haridwar, concluding the Do Dham Yatra.

Best Time to Visit

  • May to June & September to October (favorable weather conditions).
